How we got Started
It all began when longtime six-man football coach, Coach Stredic, was invited to speak at a coaches’ conference about blocking and offensive line play. Midway through his presentation, he paused and shared that the Lord had laid it heavily on his heart: more needed to be done to support coaches in our profession. He stressed the profound impact we have on our players and the vital importance of standing together as brothers in faith and football. A self-proclaimed technophobe (he couldn’t even run his own PowerPoint and relied on a younger coach to handle the computer), Coach Stredic turned to Coach Golemon and simply said, “Make it happen.”
Coach Golemon already owned a domain and had once hosted a six-man podcast that had long sat dormant. Prompted by the Holy Spirit to attend the clinic that day, he was pleasantly surprised to find Coach Stredic had clear direction for where his efforts should go. And so, this community was born—because iron sharpens iron. We’re excited to see where the Lord takes us next.
